Testimonial
“ I am a final year physiotherapy student currently enrolled in Stotts pilates program with 3 more days to complete Aprill 11th, 12th and 13th. So far I have really enjoyed it, it is challenging and due to get more challenging when we learn the intermediate repertoire but it is very appropriately instructed. The anatomical language and postural analysis is ideal for physiotherapists as it re-caps on what we have previously learned in a practical and visual way. The instructors are very skilled, accommodating and friendly. Each exercise is demonstrated, explained, practices by the students and then time is given later on for questions and to practice teaching other members of the course.Specific modifications for various postures and which exercise are more appropriate for different client type are also highlighted and there is opportunity in designing programs for colleagues.
While the course is quite expensive at €1550 it is definitely an investment which is well worth it as it is highly regarded amongst private clinics who are seeking pilates instructors, as well as this the repertoire can carry over into other areas of exercise prescription in an outpatient, sports or hospital setting. I hope to sit my practical and written exams in June and earn some extra cash teaching classes over the summer before I move to New Zealand. For anyone interested in pilates or in core strengthening I would definitely recommend this course.
I would give it 8/10! "
