Structured PhD in biomedical, Health Services and Translational Research level 10 NFQ (Research)
The research of the RCSI is internationally recognised.These PhD's are aimed at science graduates who wish to pursue a research related career in biomedical / translational research. This programme lasts for 4 years and follows a model of one year of taught modules followed by three years of research.

UCD
PhD in Sports and Exercise management (Research)

A PhD in Sports and Exercise Management can be undertaken on a full or part-time basis through the UCD Centre for Sports Studies. Generally applicants hold a higher level degree (First or Second Class Honours) in a relevant area. PhD Physiotherapy (Research)
There is less specific information available on PhD's in Physiotherapy in TCD. TCD's research is focused primarily on the areas of; exercise in the prevention and treatment of chronic disease, the role of physiotherapy in the treatment of an ageing population and biomechanics of human movement.

NUI GALWAY.
PhD Anatomy
The PhD in Anatomy in NUI Galway is offered on a part-time basis at a cost of €4529 per year. Candidates would usually have attained a higher honours at degree level, as well as the support of an academic staff member who has supervised previous research by the candidate.
