Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is the professional body for physiotherapists in the UK. Once registered with the HCPC and having obtained a UK address a physiotherapist may apply for membership with the CSP. There is a joining fee of £195 and annual subscription of £329.64 for full employed membership. The various types of membership fees can be found here.
Benefits of joining CSP
While it is not compulsory to join the CSP, over 95% of physiotherapists in employment in the UK are members.
Members are represented by a union, have access to medical, professional and public liability insurance, have chartered status, receive advice and support re professional development.
